When you are advertising a room you should always try to provide the following information:

• Rental Cost - Either provide the weekly or monthly cost of the room you are renting.
• Deposit - What deposit will be required.

• Amenities - What parks or shops are near by the property being offered.
• Local Transport - Buses, Trains
• Details about other roommates
• Rental Period - What is the minimum term of rental
• Lease - Terms of the lease i.e 3, 6 or 12 month lease etc
• Landlord - Details about the landlord i.e Live in Landord, Professional Landlord
• Tenancy Deposit Scheme - Let your Tenants know about how their deposit will be protected.

Please remember to not put your email address or personal telephone number in your ad description. We are trying to stop you becoming a victim on on online scams.

If you want to put in a web address in your advertisement then you need to place a back link from that website to Rooms-To-Let.com.

Advertisers in the United Kingdom will not have their phone numbers displayed, instead we will replace that number with a safe numbers, so when an interested roommate wwant to call and enquire about the room they ring the 070 number on the ad and this diverts to the advertisers number provided in the ads submission page.
